Description
Harbour Seal (phoca vitulina) – Seal Bay, Vancouver Island
Harbour seals are found in both the Pacific and Atlantic oceans. They have a distinctive V shaped nose, and range in colour from tan to black with light or dark spots. Their main diet is fish, but they will also eat crustaceans, mollusks and squid.
